The PACKSTATION
prizewinner of the World
Mail Award 2004 as most innovative international postal
product was developed in co-operation between DHL and KEBA.
KEBA was selected from more than 20 competitors by DHL and
exclusively commissioned with the product development. After
the realization of a marketable model with customized hardware
and software in a record time of only 12 months, the PACKSTATION
was put into operation throughout Germany.
With 900 PACKSTATIOns installed and over 700,000 registered customers
in Germany as well as a very high level of availability, the
automation specialist KEBA is world market leader in Last
Mile Solutions.
KEBA is now supplying an additional 1,500 DHL PACKSTATIONs to the 900 already installed in Germany.With the future country-wide service, 90% of the population will be able to reach one of the 2,400
PACKSTATIONs within 10 minutes.

KEBA supplies parcel stations to the Austrian Post
KEBA has designed and delivered 24 parcel stations, the so-called Post.24, for the Österrreichische Post AG. On November 24, 2006, 24 fully automatic parcel stations, which are available for parcel collection or return at any time of the day or night, went into operation in Vienna
The Norwegian Post Office is currently testing KePol.
Norway Post starts to automate the last mile, the most expensive stage in the package business, additional to the norwegian network of postal offices and agencies. Two KePol self-service package automats of KEBA went on-line in November. Norway Post selected thereby particularly interesting locations. Thus a KEBA automat stands already directly at the warehouse of a large on-line dealer. Goods ordered online, can be picked up there only two hours after order. Similar 1A customer service offers the second KEBA system at the main railway station of Oslo. Goods, ordered before 11:00 am, can be picked up already starting from 4:00pm, directly on the way home. Highest convenience for internet shoppers. Self-evident, that an SMS informs the customer about the arrival of his bargain in the KePol station. |
