The company has a workforce of 210, with some 40 employees in the production area and a further 90 staff at 22 service points throughout China.
 
The China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation (CBPM) is a subsidiary of the Chinese Central Bank and has a workforce of around 30,000.  With 18 plants and a technical centre, the company specialises in the printing of bank notes and the minting of coins.
 
The CBPM-KEBA joint venture combines CBPM’s know-how in the areas of banknote recognition and processing with KEBA’s experience and innovative strengths in the cash cycle technology sector.  The linkage of these capabilities will enable CBPM-KEBA to become a leader supplier in the Chinese market for cash-in and cycle solutions.
