How it all began...
In 2000, when trading on the Internet was still in its infancy, KEBA (already known as the automation professional in other market segments at the time), collaborated with Deutsche Post DHL in thinking about how the increasing parcel volume could be processed in an efficient and service orientated way in the future.
During this development, KEBA engineers benefited enormously from their sound knowledge of electronics manufacturing, experience in automation construction and banking and know-how from the safety technology and the payment solution areas.
One year later, the result of the work was KePol - a reliable, safe, automated solution for picking-up and dropping-off parcels and any kind of goods. Today, KEBA has valuable knowledge from a variety of customer projects across the entire world and is the global market leader with more than 5,000 lockers sold.
