Successful trade show appearance at the POST EXPO 2009 in Hannover _2009-10-07
KePol, KeContact, KeTop T50, innovative solutions from KEBA, attracted a large number of interested parties to the KEBA exhibition stand. From September 29 to October 1, KEBA presented KePol, the cost-efficient logistics solution and KeContact, the new charging station for electric vehicles, at the POST EXPO in Hannover. KEBA's Industrial Automation business unit was also represented and exhibited innovative automation solutions for logistical processes with KeTop T50 and the CP252 industrial control.
The KePol parcel logistics solution, which is already a well-recognized name in the postal industry through successful projects in Germany (DHL Packstation), Austria (Post 24/7), Norway (Postautomat), Sweden (My Quick Box) and Denmark (Doegnposten), was met again with active interest.
KEBA's innovative solutions attracted scores of interested parties to its exhibition stand, including important representatives of the postal and package delivery industries like Frank Appel, CEO of Deutsche Post DHL and Edouard Dayan, General Director of the UPU (Universal Postal Union).
In his opening speech, Frank Appel praised the DHL Packstation, which had been developed in cooperation with KEBA, as "one of the best products", and appeared very impressed during his visit to the KEBA trade show stand.
For the first time, this year's POST EXPO visitors had the opportunity to experience live presentations of the latest electric vehicles and test drive them. The KeContact charging station wasn't only on display at the exhibition stand, it was also set up in the vehicle presentation area – the so-called 'zero-emission vehicle zone'– where it could be used to charge electric vehicles.
The large number of interested parties made KEBA's POST EXPO 2009 presence a complete success.
