KEBA at the Automatica 2010 on Stand 304, Hall A2 _2010-05-17

Visit our stand at the Automatica from June 8-11 and see the many advantages of KEBA automation solutions for yourself. Among others, we will be presenting the following innovations:

KEBA at the Automatica 2010 on Stand 304, Hall A2
  • KeTop P10 directmove – robot teach-ins with maximum efficiency
The KeTop P10 directmove study is a revolutionary hand-held for teaching robots, the spatial positioning and orientation of which, can be precisely determined by means of sensors. Simple movements of the device are sufficient to provide the robot with intuitive instructions to move in a certain direction or to rotate around a particular axis. Traditional robot teach-ins, in which the setter thinks in terms of coordinate systems and must possess a great deal of experience, are thus a thing of the past.

  • Active contact flange – the ideal solution for surface treatments and handling
This is is a combined actuator and sensor element, which is used between a robot and its tool, and thus allows the targeted and measured use of force. As a consequence, tolerances on the workpiece and the tool can be equalized by means of internal dynamics. This robot control solution is ideal for tasks in the areas of grinding, polishing, laminating, bonding and gluing, especially where high precision is required.

  • KeMotion – control systems for packing with record-breaking efficiency
In addition to fully programmed palletizing commands and an extensive library for the optimum use of storage space, KeMotion ensures maximum user comfort through a large selection of predesigned screens, which greatly simplify the configuration of the pallet and the palletizing pattern. The performance of KeMotion controlled robots puts them way out in front. For example, a Delta robot can achieve 210 pick-and-place cycles per minute and thus enormous productivity. As a consequence, the number of robots used on a packing line can be reduced although product throughput remains unchanged.
