Recently KEBA has formed a parntership with systems integrator MIFA from India. MIFA will sell KEBA’s controls for injection molding machines, KePlast, on the Indian market and will provide customers with technical support. KEBA and MIFA will show the innovative controls at a joint booth during the PLASTINDIA 2009 from 4th to 9th February 2009 exhibition.
 
KePlast is a control system which has been specially developed for use in plastics machinery. The range covers the complete spectrum of applications from simple hydraulic and fully electric injection molding machines, to complex multi-component plants with handling robots. Irrespective of whether the machines employed are hydraulic, hybrid or fully electric, with KePlast, they are designed on a uniform basis with regard to project design, look and feel as well as diagnosis and maintenance.
 
The scope of delivery of the controls includes among tools for servicing, quality supervision and central machine monitoring two especially useful programs: The ergonomic KePlast AppCo software tool guides the machine manufacturer during the preparation of control applications in dialog form through the entire configuration process up to the finished control program, without the necessity of programming skills. KePlast EasyMold is an interactive software tool for the rapid definition of correct machine settings following tool changes that requires no special experience or know-how on the part of the user.
