Year-end closing 2008/2009 _2009-06-30

Turnover is slightly above the previous year by the first-time consideration of the business in China.

CTO Franz Höller, CEO Gerhard Luftensteiner
"In the last 10 years, KEBA AG has tripled its turnover and doubled its number of employees. Today, despite the extremely difficult environment, we have achieved a turnover of € 124.5 million for the concluded business year 2008/09 (April 1, 2008 – March 31, 2009)" said Gerhard Luftensteiner CEO of KEBA AG at a press conference in Linz.

An 11 % decline in sales in Europe to € 109 million was able to be fully compensated for by the first-time consideration of the business in China. In the past year, KEBA assumed the majority in the Chinese joint venture CBPM-KEBA.

By the end of the business year, with € 124.5 million, we were lying slightly over the previous year's turnover of € 122.9 million" according to Gerhard Luftensteiner.

In the current economic environment, KEBA's strategy has proven to be the right one both in the industrial automation as well as in the banking and service automation industries.
