Motor filters

The steep switching flanks of modern converters combined with long runs of motor wiring very often produce transient overvoltages at the motor terminals. A motor filter at the converter output prevents these transients and reduces the discharge currents of the motor wiring. In particular, motor filters permit the use of 3rd party motors that do not have dielectric-strength ratings in line with the requirements of the KeDrive converters.
