KeDrive D6
- Cost-effective multi-axis applications
The modular system concept of the KeDrive D4 line can be used in configuring cost-effective multi-axis solutions right up to the very highest end of the power range. The central supply module powers all the downline inverter modules, so the converter section can be omitted from each. This also reduces the complexity of the wiring.
- High energy efficiency
The KeDrive units share a common DC link, so energy can be balanced across all the axis. The brake energy generated by joints working as generators can be used for the axis working in motor-driven mode. This reduces power draw from the grid and also minimizes the aggregate brake energy to be dissipated. The unused, excess brake energy can be fed back to the grid. This avoids the waste heat generated by conventional drive systems.
- Controlled voltage on DC link for constant system behavior
The supply units with feedback capability peg the voltage on the link at a constant level regardless of line-voltage fluctuations. This keeps the behavior of the entire drive system constant regardless of the line-voltage level and despite line-voltage fluctuations, ensuring maximum output at all times.
