In its production processes, KEBA follows the principle of the "breathing factory".
The continuously increasing demands of our customers with regard to our delivery capacity and including the speed and flexibility of deliveries, are fulfilled by us through "breathing" capacities, including assembly-line manufacturing, standardised working processes and continuous reductions of processing time.
In a process organisation that has been slimmed down from beginning to end, we manufacture and deliver customer-specific automation solutions as the need arises. Our electronic manufacturing division produces components with extremely fine structures and a high packing density on high-performance and fully automated production lines. In the equipment and machine assembly department, self-managed teams have specialised in just-in-time manufacturing of products with customer-specific configurations.

KEBA has been certified according to EN ISO 9001:2000 since 1994. Our quality management system is based on the criteria of the Malcolm Baldridge Award and the EFQM, creating a quality management system that fits our needs precisely.
Our quality control procedures have been integrated into our manufacturing, development, logistics and the supporting service processes. This means that at KEBA, quality assurance is integrated in the processes and in the teams concerned with it. Highly qualified employees and state-of-the-art testing systems are the key factors for highest manufacturing quality.
The data from all test procedures (optical inspection, in-circuit test, functional tests, temperature change test, high tension tests, etc.) is stored online in a centralised quality database. This provides information for an uninterrupted monitoring and tracing of quality aspects, throughout the life cycle of a product, and this data is used actively for making decisions in our ongoing product- and process-improvement management.
The active participation of all employees in this ongoing improvement process assures continuous growth in our competitiveness.
