Technologies for the products of tomorrow

Recognising the technologies of tomorrow is one of the most important preconditions for KEBA, in developing new and innovative products.

Picking up on new technological potential in a timely manner is one of the prime research activities at KEBA, with which we can provide our customers with successful competitive advantages.

Human-Machine-Interface 2020 – intuition & comfort for every user

Intuitive handling and intuitive user interfaces assure optimised operating procedures and target-oriented actions. KEBA products implement highly optimised user interfaces.

To realise more comfortable operating concepts, the newest technologies, such as face recognition and all the way to new operating metaphors, are closely examined and tested by us.

Domain specific languages - an optimised automation solution for every user group

Machines will become increasingly flexible in the future, which means that software development for automation solutions becomes increasingly important and more complex.

The various levels of an automation solution (system/application/end-user) must be designed to take the different access possibilities and educational levels of users into account. KEBA makes special efforts to provide optimal support for end-users in its new and innovative solutions, so that they can fulfil their tasks simply, quickly and correctly.

Real-time - a new definition

Real-time extensions for Windows or Linux have quickly reached the limits of their possibilities due to the high requirements made by control technology and robotics.

KEBA has therefore developed its own solution which makes reaction times in the range of 10µs possible. Instead of a strict separation of the interrupts, between equipment operating either in real-time or not, the KemroRT real-time extension provides flexible prioritisation and interrupt management. This means that the system is open for all interrupts, and that priorities can be assigned according to demand. Details are available in a technical article (see Fachartikelablage Internet – the article will be published in the middle of November Computer&Automation)
