KeTop
T50 is a powerful universal device designed for the performance
of any task in the areas of operation and display. Even complex
sequences can be displayed clearly on its 1/4 VGA color or
monochrome LC display. The maximum storage capacity and screen
resolution were deliberately designed for applications with
high -but not the very highest- visualization requirements.
This well-thought-out restriction has made it possible to
develop an extremely economical midrange panel which provides
nearly the same scope of functions as the top terminal of
KEBA's new series of handheld operating devices - at a fraction
of the cost.
Perfect handling
The universal devices T 50, T 40 and T 30 are installed in
the smaller of the two KeTop housings, which has a diameter
of 250 mm. This reduces the total weight of the terminal to
approximately 1.3 kg. In addition to the touchscreen, 2 x
12 function keys are also available for data entry. The convenient
key size makes for easy keypad operation both with and without
gloves.
Universal application
KeTop T50 is the ideal handheld terminal for applications
that require visualization, but that can do without many of
the features (e.g. Ethernet) provided by the T100 high-end
solution. The midrange panel of the KeTop handheld terminal
series is designed for universal use in the area of mobile
automation. The panel is perfect for a wide range of manufacturers
- from small-scale producers of laboratory equipment and midrange
mechanical equipment to large-scale manufacturers and plant
engineering companies.
Individual programming with standards
Like at the T100, the configuration of the KeTop T50 is carried
out by means of the zenOn 5.50 visualization tool from Copadata.
The software provides extensive drawing functions, standard
graphic modules and different libraries for the simple and
rapid realization of individualized user interfaces. No specific
programming knowledge is required for creating the screen
masks. For large-scale series, the applications can be applied
directly onto the Windows-CE operating system by means of
Visual Basic or Visual C++. This also contributes to the overall
economic efficiency of the KeTop T50.
