When falling to ground, a handheld terminal
is exposed to strong impacts. Modern FE simulation during the design process encreases the reliability of the terminals. To be able to better analyse
what happens in case of such an impact, KEBA carries out drop
tests at regular intervals and records these tests using a
high-speed camera. The results of these analyses slipped into
the design of the KeTop series. The dependence is on a high level.
Due to to all these measures, the KeTop survives a fall
from 1.5 m (1 m at the T100) onto industrial flooring.
