The programming of machine workflow and process control is
carried out with Kemro.iecedit. The Editor fullfills the guidelines
of IEC 61131-3 and provides a free choice between the KOP/FBS,
AWL, ST and AS programming languages. Special features such
as overview window, syntax coloring, variable declaration
table, project compare/merge or the project- wide search function
and documentation facilitate working with Kemro.iecedit. The
use of off-the-shelf technolgy modules (for control, plastics
machines and motion) noticeably speeds up programming.
The tool also supports the Kemro machine unit concept, thereby
enabling separate software creation by a number of programmers,
i.e. the automatable “software factories”, as
well as separate testing of individual units. An integrated
debugger also provides a series of useful features such as
the setting of breakpoints, single step mode, watchpoints,
a variables monitor, etc.
