KeContact T10 Payment Terminal

Direct payment solution for charging current

Payment solution for charge point operators

For easy charging & billing at public charging stations

With the KeContact T10 Payment Terminal, we remove the payment hurdle at public charging stations. How? By basing our system on everyday means of payment: In addition to charging cards from CPOs, bank and credit cards are also accepted. Thanks to NFC, completely contactless, which also makes mobile payment possible. With the T10 Payment Terminal, charging at our wallboxes is accessible and directly billable for all EV drivers. This creates a positive charging experience, increases utilisation and improves profitability for operators. In addition, customers can conveniently and sustainable download their receipt to their smartphone via QR code after the charging session - immediately or even later thanks to storage.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have questions about the KeContact T10 Payment Terminal? Here we have compiled answers to the most frequently asked questions for you. You can find more FAQs here or contact us directly!

What is the KEBA KeContact T10 payment terminal?

The KEBA KeContact T10 is a payment terminal that connects directly to KEBA wallboxes and enables our charge point operators to offer a direct payment option for bank or credit card payments via physical terminal in addition to the existing online payment services. The KeContact T10 enables direct payment via physical cards directly at the point-of-sale (POS).

Is the KeContact T10 also compatible with third-party hardware?

No, the KeContact T10 currently only works with wallboxes from KEBA.

How many wallboxes can the KeContact T10 control?

In combination with a KeContact P30 as master wallbox, up to 16 wallboxes can be controlled with a single terminal; in combination with a KeContact M20 charging management controller, up to 200 wallboxes can be controlled. For reasons of usability, however, we recommend installing a separate KeContact T10 for a maximum of 20 wallboxes, as otherwise it will be more difficult to find the terminal in the car park.

What means of payment does the KeContact T10 accept?

The KeContact T10 currently accepts VISA, Mastercard and Girocard, including the payment cards stored in the Google and Apple Pay wallets.

For which application is the payment terminal particularly suitable?

The option of direct payment with the KeContact T10 at KEBA charging stations is particularly suitable in the area of semi-public and public charging. A contract with a mobility provider is considered unnecessary for the payment of charging sessions, which means that barrier-free payment can be made with any common credit or giro card. Typical installation locations are public parking areas or parking garages, company car parks, car parks in and around restaurants, hotels or supermarkets.

How do I get to my payment terminal as an end customer?

If you are, for example, a catering business that would also like to offer its customers the option of direct payment for charging, your first point of contact is a charge point operator active in your region.

If you already have an existing charging infrastructure where charging with charging cards is possible, please contact your charging point operator directly, as this operator is required to integrate the KeContact T10.

If you do not have a charging infrastructure yet or if your charging infrastructure is not connected to a charging station operator, please contact operators that offer charging in your region.
