Gerhard Luftensteiner, CEO of the KEBA Group, and Franz Höller, Chief Technology Officer, were awarded the "Wirtschaftsmedaille der WKO Oberösterreich in Silber" (Silver Medal of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce) for their entrepreneurial commitment and many years of service to Upper Austria as a business location.

Special award

The award was presented by Erich Frommwald, Chairman of the Industry Division of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce, at a ceremony in Linz.

Both award winners have been with the company for 40 years and have shaped KEBA from the beginning in various managementfunctions. Particularly in their years as members of the KEBA Group Management Board - Gerhard Luftensteiner since 1999, Franz Höller since 2006 - they have consistently advanced the strategic, technological and international orientation of KEBA and thus ensured the success of the company.
The new agile, low-hierarchy and versatile organisational form, which KEBA has been implementing since 2018 as one of the first industrial companies of this size, is also based on the initiative of Gerhard Luftensteiner and Franz Höller. Through their commitment and long-standing involvement in various organisations, associations and initiatives, they also promote the technological, economic and social development of Upper Austria.

„We are very pleased to receive this award and would like to take this opportunity to thank all KEBA employees who contribute to the success of our company every day with their expertise, commitment and passion. The award is not only a recognition of our personal performance, but that of the entire KEBA team!“
