KEBA Suppliers' Day

KEBA invited 90 companies from all over the world to Linz last Wednesday for the first “KEBA Suppliers’ Day”.

The networking meeting took place under the motto “The World is Changing – Are We?”. The defining theme of the event was the new fast pace that is transforming processes, presenting companies and suppliers with great challenges, and requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability. “We want to show our partners during the first KEBA Suppliers’ Day how our company is positioning itself for a successful future and how important the support of our business partners is in this regard”, explained Michael Bodingbauer, head of strategic purchasing at KEBA.

Topics such as industry 4.0, quality management for the future as well as general conditions for optimal cooperation between purchasing and suppliers were also discussed. In addition to numerous technical presentations and discussions, the 180 or so participants also had the opportunity to learn about new developments in robotics and visualisation as well as in ATM machines and electric charging stations.

High technical skills, support for development and production, excellent quality, speed and commercial performance are criteria that KEBA values in its suppliers. “Our cooperation with our partners is marked by respect and openness”, said CTO Franz Höller. “We involve our supply partners in development projects at KEBA early on. Through this networking and intensive exchange, we are able to bring new products with excellent features to the market quickly”.
