This was not only about industrial automation.
It was also about turning your ideas into reality.
We would like to thank you very much for your visit at the EMO trade fair. We look back on many highlights from industrial automation and are already looking forward to a repeat.
Thank you for visiting us at EMO 2023 in Hanover.
Human-Machine-Interfaces
KEBA offers a unique selection of mobile - wired or wireless - and stationary operating devices. Performance and size are adapted to the respective visualisation and operating tasks.
KeWheel
With the fully adaptive rotary push-button KeWheel as the central operating element, overrides, handwheels, operation selector switches, axis travel keys and user interface input options can be combined in one device. The KeWheel allows the operator to feel additional information about the machine status via a wide range of haptic feedback.
Force Feedback Technology
Safety during machine operation even without a hardware key
Equipped with force feedback technology, the AP524 stationary panel provides haptic feedback and measures the force of touching the touchscreen. By means of vibration, the operator receives feedback on the inputs. This can be triggered either directly when the button is touched or when a defined force threshold is exceeded.
You can also find out more about force feedback technology on our blog.
KeDrive D3 drive system - PROFIdrive certified
KeDrive D3 is one of the first multi-axis drive systems to be PROFIdrive certified. 3 axes in only one module ensure a very compact design, so that the drives can be mounted close to the application. The PROFIsafe communication, which is also certified, also forms the basis for integration into safe machines.
The magnetic-bearing 6D spindle
With the innovative magnetic-bearing spindle, materials that are difficult to machine can be machined safely and in a process-optimised manner.
During machining, a chip breakage is induced with the help of a superimposed vibration on the feed movement. In addition, the signals from the spindle can be used for precise condition monitoring and even the smallest cutting breakage of the tool can be detected. This ensures optimum component quality.
The KEBA 6D spindle in operation at Bosch
When machining difficult-to-machine, high-alloy steels, conventional machining methods reach their limits. Bosch and KEBA show how this can nevertheless be done sustainably, safely and economically in large-scale production in the automotive sector.
