Banks and savings banks expect cash recycling systems that operate reliably and efficiently while meeting growing demands for low energy consumption and high security. This is exactly where the new evo generation comes in: it is based on a system that has proven itself in daily operation for many years and has now been purposefully further developed.

We are continuing our successful collaboration with Deutsche Bank that spans more than 20 years and have reached a significant milestone: Over the past twelve months, more than 1,000 new cash recyclers have been installed in Deutsche Bank and Postbank branches.

The Supervisory Board of KEBA Group AG has extended the contract of Chief Financial Officer Andreas Schoberleitner (47) ahead of schedule by a further five years, effective 28 August 2025. The decision comes almost a year before the regular end of the contract and thus sends a strong signal of continuity and trust.

The KEBA Group looks back on an overall successful and solid fiscal year. In an environment characterized by weak economic activity in Europe, geopolitical tensions, and economic uncertainties, the Group was able to achieve significant revenue growth and implement key strategic initiatives.

KEBA Industrial Automation has signed a partnership agreement with the British company HMK Automation Group Ltd. Together with HMK, KEBA now intends to expand its presence in the UK market.

KEBA, one of the leading European providers of charging solutions, has announced the acquisition of EnerCharge. With this strategic acquisition, KEBA is expanding its portfolio with DC charging solutions for the (semi-)public sector, thereby strengthening its position in the market as a full-range provider.

In the past financial year, the strategic fundament of the KEBA Group, namely the diversification of the business into different markets and industries, once again proved to be a solid and stable basis for the international company.

KEBA had the pleasure of taking part in the Long Night of Research for the first time. We welcomed over 300 visitors - the youngest guest was just 2 years old, the oldest over 80.

Currently, 58 apprentices are being trained in six apprenticeship professions at KEBA Group AG in Austria. Overall, the number of apprentices at the Linz-based automation specialist has doubled compared to three years ago with the new starters in September 2023.

With the 2023 school holidays, the holiday care programme of the Linz-based automation specialist KEBA started its first round and allows employees more flexibility in the summer.

The first climate-neutral lottery terminal comes from the Austrian manufacturer KEBA. The new KeWin Micro was introduced last year and is now also available in a climate-neutral version on request. Together with the experts for climateneutral production, the current CO2 footprint was calculated and measures for reduction were implemented.

The KEBA Group, headquartered in Linz, increased its sales from 537.7 million € to 553.5 million € in the past business year (April 2022 - March 2023). This corresponds to a sales growth of approximately 16 million € or 3% . Looking at the last five years, the average annual growth is around 17% (CAGR).

Karl Kletzmaier, co-founder and chairman of the supervisory board of KEBA, was awarded the Ring of Honor of the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences for his many years of service as chairman of the Research & Development Advisory Board of the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences.

On October 14, this year's EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award was presented in Austria. In the category "Sustainability & Greentech" Gerhard Luftensteiner, CEO of KEBA Group AG was awarded.

At the beginning of 2021 we sold the 250,000th wallbox. Just 20 months later, this number has doubled to half a million. The reason behind this: the specialisation in intelligent charging technology and consistently climate-neutral production at the site in Linz.

The planning of the new KEBA site in Leonding/Pasching (AT) is progressing rapidly. The winning project by the Viennese office Franz&Sue was selected from ten submissions.

In 2001, KEBA installed the very first parcel locker. At that time, the journey was to neighboring Germany. In the meantime, thousands of KEBA parcel lockers have left the birthplace/production site in Linz and have also traveled far beyond the national border and Europe. Now, more than 20 years later, KEBA is pleased to announce the realization of a long-planned heartfelt project: a KePol parcel locker from KEBA in the KEBA area. Together with the Austrian Post, an outdoor location was chosen that is publicly accessible for all people at the KEBA Group AG site, in Linz / Upper Austria.

The Upper Austrian automation specialist KEBA continues to grow. In the last year alone, the internationally active company has grown by 225 employees, the majority of them in Austria. KEBA has thus reached the 2.000-employee mark.

As the leading manufacturer of intelligent charging stations for hybrid and electric vehicles, KEBA is today opening the eMobility Store at Leonfeldnerstraße 2 in Linz-Urfahr together with LINZ AG.

In December 2021, KEBA acquired the Stuttgart / Germany-based software company drag and bot. The start-up develops an innovative operating system for robots. As a 100% subsidiary, drag and bot GmbH is part of KEBA Industrial Automation GmbH, one of the three business areas of KEBA Group AG. With this new acquisition, KEBA strengthens its position in industrial automation and strategically expands its product portfolio with flexible automation software.

The international Best Managed Companies programme, which is already established in more than 30 countries and awards outstandingly managed companies, was carried out in Austria for the first time this year. KEBA is one of the first Austrian award winners.

In 2021, the International Automobile Exhibition IAA became IAA Mobility. The name says it all: Rather than putting only the car at center stage, the focus was now on mobility today and tomorrow. In addition to cars, especially bicycles and even small airplanes were presented at the Munich Trade Fair Center.

Commerzbank is investing in its modern branch equipment and will gradually install 800 new ATMs in its nationwide branches until 2024. Again, the devices exclusively come from Austrian automation expert KEBA AG and combine deposit as well as withdrawal of banknotes and coins.

In the run up to releasing the first all-electric Honda e, KEBA was named the exclusive supplier for Honda Power Charger wall boxes. The charging station was jointly developed in record time and first presented at the last IAA in Frankfurt.

The renaming of LTI Motion GmbH to KEBA Industrial Automation Germany GmbH one year after the successful merger highlights the seamless portfolio of the two companies.

KEBA’s unique laser angle meter for the sheet metal bending industry was chosen by the jury as the winner of the Upper Austrian State Prize for Innovation 2018 in the “Large Company” category.
