Receiving the now third product design award reflects the uniqueness of KEBA's innovative angle measurement device. During the presentation of the renowned German Design Award on February 8, the device was granted the distinction "Special Mention," which honours developments whose product design demonstrates especially successful partial aspects or solutions.
A faster and easier way to measure angles – both on the machine and manually
Conceived for the sheet metal bending industry, in serial production, the compact angle measurement device utilizing a novel laser measuring method simplifies both fully automatic quality control directly at the press brake and manual angle checking. In addition, with its "continuous measurement" function, the device makes it possible to check the angle over the entire length of a sheet metal part in one go.
Quality assurance without wasting time
The award-winning angle measuring instrument represents a completely new way to measure angles and significantly contributes to preventing rejects. When used at the press brake, the production process does not have to be interrupted – this enables seamless quality assurance without losing time.
Positive feedback from customers and multiple awards prove this: KEBA has managed to develop an industrial-grade, compact measuring device that is extremely easy to use, and which delights both users and expert committees alike.
