Anniversary Celebration Marks a New Chapter as KEBA Handover Automation Germany GmbH

Since its founding in 1991, the Oberlungwitz site has stood for innovative strength, technological expertise, and intelligent automation solutions. The company has established itself as a leading provider, particularly in the field of secure handover and locker systems. KEMAS has been part of the internationally active KEBA Group for ten years. During this time, synergies have been leveraged, international market potential has been unlocked, and sustainable growth has been enabled. With the rebranding to KEBA Handover Automation Germany GmbH, this successful integration is now also reflected in the company’s brand identity.

The anniversary celebration offered guests a diverse program featuring personal encounters, expert input, and exclusive insights into the work carried out at the site. During themed tours, visitors were able to experience how work is conducted in Oberlungwitz, which current solutions the team is developing, and which innovations will shape future markets and customer requirements.

Particularly valuable were the many in-depth conversations with customers, partners, and long-standing companions. An inspiring outlook was also provided by Simone Kaiser, Head of the Center for Responsible Research and Innovation (CeRRI) at Fraunhofer IAO, in her keynote on “The Work and Living Environments of Tomorrow.”
