Digital IT and work equipment management
At a glance
Missing spare parts delay repairs, lack of the necessary work equipment stops new staff being deployed efficiently, and failing to install buffers in production can lead to plant downtimes. The resulting additional and consequential costs are significant.
Our solution for automated work equipment distribution creates a single point of contact for structured issue and return of equipment. Whenever an item breaks down or is lacking, staff can obtain replacements. The service-providing contractor receives a notification, and can replace the equipment rapidly.
This means you can always be sure that your staff are ready to work at all times, and have a comprehensive overview of your work equipment management.

How does work the equipment management system work?
Set-up
The administrator first imports the employee master data, then assigns various roles and permissions to staff. This allows requisition authorisations to be generated subsequently, such as by way of a QR code, and sent to the staff concerned. It is also possible to include standby retrieval or return by an authorised supplier.
Applications
Managed services: If external contractors such as IT vendors or parcel couriers are involved in the process, they can also access the terminals round the clock, if so desired. Dedicated permissions enable them to restock with new items and/or remove faulty items and return them once repaired. In the meantime, staff can be provided with a replacement and be back at work straight away.
A highly convenient means of identification at hardware resource issuing units is via a QR code using a smartphone, for example.
