Our coding contests, which we have started in 2026, bring together developers, students, pupils, AI enthusiasts and technology professionals to tackle real-world challenges, test innovative approaches and push the boundaries of what's possible.
Artificial Intelligence, software engineering, data science and emerging technologies will always be the focus of KEBA AI Coding Contests, so they provide a platform to learn, compete, collaborate and showcase talent.
Looking Back: the 1st KEBA AI Coding Contest (May/June 2026)
Our first AI Coding Contest challenged participants to develop accurate forecasting models for electric vehicle charging demand. Using real-world charging data, contestants competed to improve load predictions that help keep charging infrastructure, buildings and power grids stable and efficient.
- 162 contestants joined the challenge
- 73 participants submitted solutions
- 7,056 submissions were evaluated throughout the contest
- 9.1 GB of AI models, code and innovation were generated
The contest demonstrated how data science and AI can contribute to solving real-world challenges in e-mobility while bringing together a highly engaged international community of developers and innovators.
