Solutions for Machine Tools
This year, KEBA will once again be exhibiting at AMB in Stuttgart. As an established provider of automation solutions, we will showcase the latest trends and technologies for the machine tool industry. Take the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with KEBA's experts.
We look forward to welcoming you to the KEBA exhibition stand.
Hall 6, Booth 6D55
CNC Technology for High-Performance Machine Tools
KEBA supplies complete automation solutions that includes mobile and stationary panels, CNC controllers, safety controllers, drive controllers with safe motion monitoring, KEBA I/Os, servo motors, tool spindles, laser source control, and galvanometric axes.
KeTop T20N
Lightweight, ergonomic, and cost-effective
Its compact design, integrated handwheel, and flexible interfaces make the KeTop T20N a cost-effective HMI solution for machine tools. The Linux-based platform enables custom visualizations, while preconfigured communication interfaces reduce the effort required for integration.
Thanks to its light weight, ergonomic design for both right- and left-handed users, and tactile controls, the handheld control unit enables comfortable and precise machine operation.
KeDrive D3 System – PROFIdrive certified
KeDrive D3 is a modular and energy-efficient drive system for modern machine tools: With PROFINET IRT, this multi-axis system offers real-time communication for highly dynamic and precise motion sequences. Thanks to PROFIdrive, it integrates seamlessly into PROFINET environments, while PROFIsafe enables safe communication up to SIL3/PLe. This PI-certified solution combines performance, safety, and flexibility for demanding CNC and machine tool applications.
KeDrive D3 Smart DC Systems – Energy-efficient drive solution
The drive system enables intelligent control of energy flows in machines and production cells. By recovering and storing braking energy, reducing peak loads (peak shaving), and bridging short power outages, the system lowers energy and connection costs, increases machine availability, and reduces the load on the power grid. The result is more efficient, robust, and sustainable machine concepts.
KeSpin HP - Productive machining of lead-free materials
Lead-free materials can pose new challenges for established machining processes: long continuous chips, difficult chip evacuation, shorter tool life, and reduced productivity. With the magnetically levitated KeSpin HP, a defined oscillation can be superimposed on the tool movement. This actively controls chip breaking, producing short, manageable chips. The result is reliable and productive machining of demanding materials – even in high-volume production.
What else to expect at the KEBA booth
KeWheel
The fully adaptive KeWheel combines override, a handwheel, operating mode selection, and UI inputs in a single device—with haptic feedback for greater ease of use.
HMI Configurator
With just a few clicks, mobile and stationary KeTop panels can be individually configured—tailored precisely to different applications, requirements, and operating concepts.
PROFIdrive-certified drive system
KeDrive D3 is a modular multi-axis system for modern machine tools. With PROFINET IRT, PROFIdrive, and PROFIsafe, it combines maximum dynamics, precise motion control, and functional safety.
Open system architecture
The Kemro X automation platform forms the basis for a wide range of applications: It enables numerous hardware and software combinations as well as the integration of third-party applications.
"HMI Explained" Video Series
In this video series on Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), we provide insights into the world of operation and monitoring in industrial automation. Engaging topics such as UX design, mobile and stationary operator panels, and various HMI technologies are explained in a clear and accessible way, offering perspectives from different angles.
Video 1: UX Design
In this episode, we explore user-centered design for Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI)
Video 3: Innovative HMI Control Elements
In this episode, we introduce KeWheel - an innovative solution that combines multiple input functions, such as override controls and electronic handwheels, into a single device.
Video 2: Digital machine control panel
In this episode, we introduce the topic of 'digitalizing the machine control panel'.
Video 4: Middleware
To ensure that the KEBA visualization framework is compatible with a wide range of control systems, an abstraction layer has been developed that accommodates the individual communication interfaces of different manufacturers.
