Laundry distribution systems
At a glance
Textile logistics in hospitals and care facilities
The provision of hygienically clean workwear is essential for staff, not just in the healthcare sector.
It is also crucial to
-
companies in the food industry,
-
clean-room operators,
-
research centres
-
and hotels.
Efficient inventory control and planning certainty are key in this.
The system also needs to relieve staff of the labour-intensive issuing and returning of textiles. The KEMAS texLOG® laundry distribution system enables you to automate your textile management. Thanks to UHF RFID technology, the entire textile cycle becomes transparent, allowing you to make your processes more cost-effective.

Room solution
texLOG® – patented room solution for intelligent laundry dispensing based on RFID
Installing an access control point and a personnel airlock in a central laundry distribution room creates a smart laundry management centre in the smallest of spaces. Clean workwear is available automatically, round the clock, and without the need for additional staffing.
Cabinet solution
texLOG® cabinet solution – decentralised garment issue from the new smart laundry locker
Decentralised garment issue provides for uninterrupted supply of clean workwear to staff, as well as efficient routing in employees’ day-to-day work routines.
Decentralised laundry dispensing lockers with UHF RFID can be installed flexibly and in a space-saving way, just where quick access is required. The modular design means the locker solution can be adapted at any time to changing circumstances or to meet increased staffing requirements.
New: The optimised, slimline display design of the control panel creates additional storage space for textiles, increasing the system’s overall capacity.
Laundry return system
Multi-location return of soiled laundry to meet high hygiene standards
A fully traceable laundry cycle also includes a structured return system. Once the soiled laundry has been discarded, the temporary link between the wearer and the garments is automatically removed, and the employee’s workwear quota is cleared.
The textile contractor takes charge of the UHF RFID-tagged and counted pool laundry. So inventory located off-site can still be fully and transparently tracked at all times.
Compact system
Compact system – an efficient solution at low acquisition cost
The compact system is characterised by its space-saving design and high operational efficiency. It can be flexibly installed in a wide variety of room settings.
The standard system consists of two to three dispensing modules and a return locker with a laundry bag. In order to save space, the control unit featuring an ID card reader and touch-screen is integrated into the return unit. This allows for stocking of up to 300 garments.
The combined issuing and return system ensures that the right workwear in the correct size is always available for around 20 to 150 staff – regardless of opening hours and staff availability.
