texLOG® room solution
At a glance
Space-saving system for the centralised distribution of workwear and laundry
In many facilities, the laundry store is only accessible during defined service hours. In practice, this often leads to staff taking more workwear than they need, and keeping it elsewhere for when they might need it. This can result in recurring shortages and limited availability.
With our room solution, the central laundry store is transformed into an intelligent, automated clothing depot. For the purpose, the existing laundry distribution room is equipped with an access control point and a personnel airlock. Following successful identification, for example at a turnstile access point, the employee is allowed in and can collect the required textiles.
When the employee leaves the room, the personnel airlock automatically records the items taken and temporarily assigns them to the wearer in question. When the item is returned, the individual’s quota is adjusted accordingly.
This ensures continuous access to clean workwear round the clock, without the need for additional staff to hand out the laundry. At the same time, the room solution sustainably increases the transparency and manageability of inventory levels as well as the reliability of supply.

How our texLOG® room solution works
Setting up automatic pool laundry issue
A basic requirement for a centralised laundry issuing room is UHF RFID-tagged laundry and, ideally, a defined allowance quota per employee.
The system also works with pool laundry and clothing allocated on a per-person basis (e.g. for hospital supply of garments to doctors).
Equipment features of the texLOG® room solution
From a laundry store to a smart laundry management centre
Revolving door
Revolving door for single-person access and entry identification at a laundry dispenser in the room
Airlock
Personnel airlock for recording textile items removed from the smart laundry store
Return
Clothing return check-in system – non-location-specific
Mobile textile dispensing station
As a temporary measure during construction work or relocation
To enable the benefits of automated laundry supply to be utilised even before construction of a laundry facility begins, textiles tagged with a UHF RFID transponder are temporarily issued manually.
- Flexible placement in front of laundry store – space-saving
- Quota system is thus maintained
- Also suitable for patient laundry in hospitals
