texLOG room solution

At a glance

Space-saving system for the centralised distribution of workwear and laundry

In many facilities, the laundry store is only accessible during defined service hours. In practice, this often leads to staff taking more workwear than they need, and keeping it elsewhere for when they might need it. This can result in recurring shortages and limited availability.

With our room solution, the central laundry store is transformed into an intelligent, automated clothing depot. For the purpose, the existing laundry distribution room is equipped with an access control point and a personnel airlock. Following successful identification, for example at a turnstile access point, the employee is allowed in and can collect the required textiles.

When the employee leaves the room, the personnel airlock automatically records the items taken and temporarily assigns them to the wearer in question. When the item is returned, the individual’s quota is adjusted accordingly.

This ensures continuous access to clean workwear round the clock, without the need for additional staff to hand out the laundry. At the same time, the room solution sustainably increases the transparency and manageability of inventory levels as well as the reliability of supply.

How does the texLOG room solution work?

The basic requirement for a central garment dispensing room is UHF RFID-tagged clothing and, ideally, a defined garment allocation per employee.

The system also works with pooled garments and partially personalized clothing (e.g. hospital laundry supply systems).
