Several buses are charging at KeContact DCL10 pillar charging stations in front of a modern building.

KeContact DCL10 Pillar

The compact fast charging station

Fast charging specifically for trucks and buses

Whether at the freight forwarding company’s depot or the bus station — where many e-buses and e-trucks are charging, minimal space consumption is very important. KEBA developed the KeContact DCL10 Pillar precisely for this purpose. Its name says it all — with its slim, tall design, the dispenser is literally a charging pillar. Combined with a long cable and a special cable holder, it makes it particularly easy to connect various and especially large e-vehicles like e-buses and e-trucks, no matter where their charging port is located.

The advantages at a glance

  • Minimal footprint of <0.5 m²
  • Simple and cost-effective installation
  • High service friendliness
  • Low operating costs thanks to uncooled cable
  • Optional 8-meter charging cable with cable management for practical handling
  • Auto Charge: Authentication according to ISO 15118 via vehicle ID

Everything under control.
Thanks to the KEBA Service Portal.

Practical charging infrastructure doesn’t stop at reliable hardware and intelligent control. In the KEBA Service Portal, all charging stations, user IDs, and charging current tariffs for direct payment can be managed.

In addition, error messages and comprehensive analysis options help to keep downtime to a minimum. This is important for CPOs, but especially for fleet owners whose vehicles are in use around the clock and therefore need to charge reliably.

Strong team

KeContact DCU10 — the suitable power unit for the KeContact DCL10

The KeContact DCL10 Pillar is a dispenser. The actual charging power is provided by a separate rectifier that converts the alternating current from the grid into direct current for the battery of the e-vehicles. For this purpose, KEBA offers the KeContact DCU10 Power Unit.

This is an extremely high-performance power electronics unit housed in a weatherproof and very compact enclosure. One power unit can supply up to four charging points with energy, with a total output of 320 kW that can be freely distributed.

Flexible installation

  • The compact dimensions and low weight of the KeContact DCL10 Pillar and the KeContact DCU10 Power Unit allow for simple and flexible installation.
  • Another advantage: The distance between the KeContact DCU10 Power Unit and the KeContact DCL10 Pillar can be up to 70 meters.

Freely scalable

Charging infrastructure with the KeContact DCL10 Pillar can be freely scaled. Up to four DCL10 Pillars can be connected per KeContact DCU10 Power Unit.
