Letterbox & Parcel Locker?
In practice, delivery doesn’t end with parcels. Letters, small merchandise shipments, and documents continue to be part of the daily mail volume. Without an integrated solution, this means additional infrastructure for operators, extra routes for delivery staff, and unnecessary complexity for end customers.
The KEBA letterbox is being developed to address exactly this challenge. It will enable the secure and convenient drop-off of letters directly at the parcel locker and will integrate seamlessly into existing locker and out-of-home (OOH) delivery concepts.
From concept to a potental solution – shaped by real feedback
In October 2025, we presented a prototype of the Letterbox for the first time at Parcel & Post Expo. The direct feedback from postal and logistics companies, retailers, and system operators was particularly valuable to us.
The key insights from the event:
Simple, intuitive operation for delivery staff
High security against unauthorized access thanks to anti-fishing baffles
Robust design for 24/7 outdoor use
Seamless integration into existing parcel locker systems
We have consistently incorporated this feedback into the further development process. The result will be a letterbox that not only delivers from a technical perspective, but also meets real-world operational requirements in the field.
Compact in size, big on value
The potential solution will offer the following capabilities:
a convenient letter drop-off, including larger letter items
a secure, closed system that reliably protects consignments
a solution that simplifies delivery processes and enhances location value
This will transform the parcel locker into a central hub for different types of shipments: efficient, space-saving, and customer-friendly.
Creating value for operators, carriers, and end customers
With the letterbox, all stakeholders benefit:
Operators can reduce process costs, increase the attractiveness of their locations, and enhance existing infrastructure.
Delivery staff save time and reduce additional routes.
End customers can conveniently drop off letters and parcels at one central location.
For maximum flexibility and expanded possibilities.
A small upgrade with major benefits
The letterbox shows the value of co-creating innovation with the market. Building on the feedback from Parcel & Post Expo 2025, we aim to transform a strong concept into a practical solution tailored to real-world needs.
This is how the parcel locker becomes a comprehensive infrastructure solution – flexible, versatile, and future-oriented.
