KeContact DCU10
Power Unit

The power provider for DC charging stations

AC/DC converter for fast, scalable charging

If many fast charging points are needed, a combination of dispensers — the charging stations — and separate power electronics is the best solution. Because not every charging station requires its own high-performance AC/DC converter, this modular system reduces investment costs. Additionally, it can be continuously expanded and modernized, allows flexible power distribution and load management, and at the same time enables very high peak outputs through bundling. Our KeContact DCU10 is such a powerful electronic unit, combining 2 x 4 stacks each with 40 kW output for a total maximum of 320 kW.

The advantages at a glance

  • 320 kW power, freely divisible among up to four charging stations
  • Up to 640 kW peak power at a single charging point in tandem operation
  • Simple and cost-effective installation
  • Compact design with a small footprint (housing measuring only 1,250 x 430 mm)
  • Low maintenance costs and high uptime thanks to open access for external service providers

Everything under control.
Thanks to the KEBA Service Portal.

Practical charging infrastructure doesn’t stop at reliable hardware and intelligent control. In the KEBA Service Portal, all charging stations, user IDs, and charging current tariffs for direct payment can be managed.

In addition, error messages and advanced analysis capabilities help to keep downtime to a minimum. This is important for CPOs, but especially for fleet owners whose vehicles operate around the clock and therefore need to charge reliably.

Great flexibility in installation

Up to 70 m distance between power unit and charging station

The distance between the KeContact DCU10 Power Unit and the KeContact DC charging stations can be up to 70 meters. This offers great advantages, for example at distribution centers where space is inherently limited. The power units can be installed far away from the actual charging spots.

Easy scalability

Up to 4 charging points per power unit

Charging infrastructure can be easily scaled with the KeContact DCU10 Power Unit. While a compact charger with integrated power electronics permanently provides only two charging points, the combination of power unit and charging station offers more flexibility: initially, for example, only two dispensers (or one dispenser with charging points) can be installed and connected. If demand increases, two more charging points can follow. Up to four dispensers like the DCL10 Pillar or two dispensers each with two charging points like the DCS10 Satellite Charger can thus be powered with DC. The power can be fully flexibly distributed among all charging points.
