With the KeContact M20 load management controller, up to 200 KeContact P40 Pro wallboxes can be combined into an intelligent charging network. This allows large charging infrastructures – for example on company car parks, in underground garages or multi-storey car parks – to be operated easily, safely and efficiently.
The system is flexibly scalable, from small installations to large-scale setups. Four different versions of the KeContact M20 – from Mini to Large – cover all requirements from multi-tenant buildings and businesses to hotels, fleets and shopping centres.

The KeContact P40 Pro charges with up to 22 kW AC power. If the vehicle supports this charging capacity, this results in a halving of the charging time compared to the standard 11 kW. As a result, just a few hours are enough for a full charge.

Thanks to numerous interfaces (WLAN, Ethernet) and communication protocols (Modbus TCP/RTU, OCPP, Rest API), the KeContact P40 Pro can be easily integrated into almost all common backends, energy management and smart home systems. Equipped for bidirectional charging and Plug & Charge
Ready for future challenges: the KeContact P40 Pro is hardware-ready according to ISO 15118 for bidirectional charging. This means that as soon as the discharge of electric vehicles for self-supply or grid relief is permitted, operation can start without additional components.
In addition, the extended communication capability of the KeContact P40 Pro will enable the convenient Plug & Charge function in the future. When the cable is plugged in, the charging station automatically recognises the vehicle and authorises the charging process. Linked charging cards, apps and payment page visits will thus become unnecessary.
User recognition via RFID
Thanks to the integrated RFID scanner, the KeContact P40 Pro is protected against unauthorised use.
This makes the wall box ideal for private use in a home carport or in a residential underground garage. However, this function not only enables the simple activation of a charging station but also the allocation of charging power – perfect for using a company car at home, on company premises or for billing purposes, for example at hotels.
