    Accurate positioning and velocity measurement

    KEBA positioning modules collect position and velocity data from incremental and SSI encoders.

    Frequency measurement for incremental encoder modules
    Our positioning modules evaluate the frequency of the rising as well as the falling edges of both tracks. This results in a significantly improved time resolution of the frequency value at low encoder frequencies compared to the control cycle time. The gate time is adjustable. This means that the responsiveness and resolution of the frequency measurement function can be tailored to the requirements of the respective application.

    Latch inputs for incremental encoder modules

    Latch inputs can be assigned in any order to the incremental encoder inputs. The simple configuration of the input wiring (sink/source) enables worldwide use.

    Integration of various SSI encoders

    The individual SSI interfaces can be adapted to the specifics of the respective encoders via various configuration settings such as bit rates, telegram lengths, bit masks and coding.
