As part of the annual Product of the Year 2025 awards from the magazine INDUSTRIAL Production, our AI expansion module AE 550 was awarded the newly established special prize “Artificial Intelligence”.

KEBA, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of wallboxes, is expanding its portfolio and presenting the new KeContact P40 and P40 Pro wallboxes. It is the perfect expansion of the KEBA eMobility portfolio, which has been well-established on the market for years and is centred around the KeContact P30, a go to choice which has sold over 550,000 units. The wallbox is specifically developed for the requirements of home, fleet and semi/public charging.

For 10 years now, KEBA Energy Automation and The Mobility House have been working together on a mission: to bring electromobility a little closer to people.

The Austrian charging pioneers KEBA and Easelink are now pooling their expertise. The two companies share the same mission of enabling electric mobility on a broad scale by employing their technologies to make the charging of electric vehicles convenient, efficient and smart. The first climate-neutral lottery terminal comes from the Austrian manufacturer KEBA. The new KeWin Micro was introduced last year and is now also available in a climate-neutral version on request. Together with the experts for climateneutral production, the current CO2 footprint was calculated and measures for reduction were implemented.

The KEBA Group, headquartered in Linz, increased its sales from 537.7 million € to 553.5 million € in the past business year (April 2022 - March 2023). This corresponds to a sales growth of approximately 16 million € or 3% . Looking at the last five years, the average annual growth is around 17% (CAGR).

Karl Kletzmaier, founder and majority owner of KEBA, recently received one of the City of Linz's highest honors: the Grand Decoration of Honor in Gold for services to the economy.

On October 14, this year's EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award was presented in Austria. In the category "Sustainability & Greentech" Gerhard Luftensteiner, CEO of KEBA Group AG was awarded.

At the beginning of 2021 we sold the 250,000th wallbox. Just 20 months later, this number has doubled to half a million. The reason behind this: the specialisation in intelligent charging technology and consistently climate-neutral production at the site in Linz.

We have developed the KEBA eMobility App to make it even easier to operate and monitor your own wallbox. From now on, all our c- and x-series charging stations as well as the company car wallbox can be controlled via smartphone or tablet.

The KEBA eMobility App will be available for download in the App Stores in just a few weeks. We are looking for testers so that it will then work perfectly for all KEBA wallbox users.

During the visit by Automobili Estrema CEO Gianfranco Pizzuto in Linz, it was announced that we at KEBA are Automobili Estrema's selected partner in the area of charging. Proudly the Italian electromobility pioneer and investor, who has been committed to electromobility since 2007 reported on its plans.

The planning of the new KEBA site in Leonding/Pasching (AT) is progressing rapidly. The winning project by the Viennese office Franz&Sue was selected from ten submissions.

The KEBA Group, headquartered in Linz, increased its sales from € 415.4 million to € 537.7 million in the past business year
(April 2021 - March 2022). With a jump in turnover of around 122 million € and a turnover growth of almost 30 % , the KEBA Group repeatedly achieved the highest turnover in its history. Looking at the last five years, the average annual growth is 22.7 % (CAGR).

In 2001, KEBA installed the very first parcel locker. At that time, the journey was to neighboring Germany. In the meantime, thousands of KEBA parcel lockers have left the birthplace/production site in Linz and have also traveled far beyond the national border and Europe. Now, more than 20 years later, KEBA is pleased to announce the realization of a long-planned heartfelt project: a KePol parcel locker from KEBA in the KEBA area. Together with the Austrian Post, an outdoor location was chosen that is publicly accessible for all people at the KEBA Group AG site, in Linz / Upper Austria.

The Upper Austrian automation specialist KEBA continues to grow. In the last year alone, the internationally active company has grown by 225 employees, the majority of them in Austria. KEBA has thus reached the 2.000-employee mark.

As the leading manufacturer of intelligent charging stations for hybrid and electric vehicles, KEBA is today opening the eMobility Store at Leonfeldnerstraße 2 in Linz-Urfahr together with LINZ AG.

In December 2021, KEBA acquired the Stuttgart / Germany-based software company drag and bot. The start-up develops an innovative operating system for robots. As a 100% subsidiary, drag and bot GmbH is part of KEBA Industrial Automation GmbH, one of the three business areas of KEBA Group AG. With this new acquisition, KEBA strengthens its position in industrial automation and strategically expands its product portfolio with flexible automation software.

The international Best Managed Companies programme, which is already established in more than 30 countries and awards outstandingly managed companies, was carried out in Austria for the first time this year. KEBA is one of the first Austrian award winners.

In 2021, the International Automobile Exhibition IAA became IAA Mobility. The name says it all: Rather than putting only the car at center stage, the focus was now on mobility today and tomorrow. In addition to cars, especially bicycles and even small airplanes were presented at the Munich Trade Fair Center.

With a turnover of 415.4 M€, which corresponds to an increase of around 11%, the KEBA Group once again achieved the highest revenues in its history. Considered over a period of 10 years, the company thus quadrupled its sales. In a dynamic year characterized by Corona, KEBA benefited from its different pillars, which operate in different industries and markets and are therefore subject to different cycles and triggers. With a new structure, KEBA strengthens its growth course.

The list of nominated companies was long and all of them are top companies in Upper Austrian industry. Therefore, we are particularly pleased that we were awarded the Pegasus in bronze in the category "Lighthouses" this year at the most important business award in Upper Austria.

Commerzbank is investing in its modern branch equipment and will gradually install 800 new ATMs in its nationwide branches until 2024. Again, the devices exclusively come from Austrian automation expert KEBA AG and combine deposit as well as withdrawal of banknotes and coins.

The KEBA AG Supervisory Board has appointed Andreas Schoberleitner (43) to the Management Board as of April 1, 2021. One of the largest and longest electric mobility field tests in Austrian history starts tomorrow. For the project "Urcharge" (Urban Charging) 51 households in a Linz residential complex will be exchanging their fuel car for an electric car including their own KEBA charging station, which is integrated into the Linz AG charging solution "WallBOX CitySolution". It will provide answers to fundamental questions about what infrastructure and charging behaviour is needed in order to make the day-to-day use of e-mobility a decisive environmental protection factor in urban areas, even for densely populated areas. The start of the project had been postponed due to Corona - now the project gets underway.

Since 2002, the Salzburger Sparkasse and automation specialist KEBA are closely connected: at that time, the first KePlus self-service machines were installed at the financial institution with headquarters in the Mozart city of Salzburg. After almost 20 years, the two traditional Austrian companies can celebrate a special anniversary: the 2000th cash recycler of the evo series automates cash deposits and withdrawals at the Maxglan branch in the city of Salzburg.

There are many access systems, but only few are secure enough that access to a bank branch can be controlled with it. KEBA, the automation specialist based in Linz/Austria, is launching a new generation of an access and foyer management system which not only controls the door but also lights, audio and much more.

The renaming of LTI Motion GmbH to KEBA Industrial Automation Germany GmbH one year after the successful merger highlights the seamless portfolio of the two companies.

Austrian Lotteries are investing 10 million euros and have been relying on Austrian quality with KEBA for over 20 years. By mid 2020, 3,000 of the total of around 5,000 retail outlets are to be equipped with the latest generation of KEBA terminals.

After the device had already received an innovation award and been crowned with the "Red Dot" and the iF design award, two of the most coveted design awards for functional product design, it has now also been awarded the German Design Award, another premium international award.

Adorable drawings by KEBA children adorn our Christmas cards this year. This was preceded by a KEBA-wide drawing competition. The jury selected six drawings as title themes from among the many submissions. KEBA’s unique laser angle meter for the sheet metal bending industry was chosen by the jury as the winner of the Upper Austrian State Prize for Innovation 2018 in the “Large Company” category.

The Austrian automation company KEBA has been active in the electric mobility market since 2009. The company is now celebrating the biggest milestone in its electric mobility history - 100,000 charging stations sold! The golden “anniversary wall box” went to Swedish e-mobility provider Clever Sweden AB and was just recently installed in Sweden.

Having already been awarded with the iF DESIGN AWARD, KEBA was able to impress yet another jury of experts with its new angle measurement device KeMes, and is awarded the coveted "Red Dot" for product design. A remarkable success because this design prize too is an internationally renowned and well-respected seal of approval for outstanding design quality.

400 guests celebrated its 50th birthday together with KEBA. Customers, suppliers, partners and decisionmakers from the world of politics and economics enjoyed an evening that was informative yet, at the same time, not too heavy and supported by a great atmosphere.

KEBA AG celebrated its fiftieth birthday over the course of three days. After a big opening ceremony on Thursday evening, the focus was on young people on Friday. KEBA invited 260 pupils and students from Upper Austria to discover the world of automation.

With a leap in revenues of EUR 60.6 million, which represents growth of 31.5 per cent, the KEBA Group achieved the best sales figures in its fifty-year history. Moreover, when viewed over a period of the past five years, average group growth has amounted to 11 per cent annually (CAGR).

A team can accomplish more than individual members can do alone. That is true not only within a company, but above all also for cross-organizational cooperation. Bühler and KEBA are following this maxim since more than 24 years. And there is more than just business to this relationship. Some members of the core team have known each other since more than a decade, are getting along extraordinarily well and share some hobbies. This is why they have set up a running team for the 17th Linz Marathon.

Together with design agency idukk, KEBA can once again celebrate the iF DESIGN AWARD, one of the largest and most important design prizes. From 6,402 submitted products, an international jury selected KEBA’s KeMes laser angle measurement system as one of the winners of the coveted design label.

45 children aged 7 to 12 explored the exciting world of technology. KEBA opened its doors for a full day again this year to the children of its staff.
